This is believed to be the first quarter rung with all four of the Grange Road colleges represented (Clare Hall, Newnham, Robinson and Selwyn).

Going back into the Guild History, they write of the pre-war band on their outing to Devon and their almost inadvertent scoring of a number of firsts in the area.
