Welcome to the CUGCR Website

The Cambridge University Guild of Change Ringers was formed in 1879 to practise the art of change ringing. Today we are an active student society who organise many ringing and social events throughout the year.

London Outing – Further Details

As previously advertised, this year’s Guild London Outing will take place on Saturday 21st November. The programme is as follows:

08.51 Train from Cambridge to Liverpool Street
10.30-11.15 Christ Church, Spitalfields 8 17-1-10
12.00-13.00 St Magnus the Martyr, London Bridge 12 26-3-9
Lunch The Crosse Keys, Gracechurch Street
15.00-15.45 St Katharine Cree, Leadenhall Street 6 9-3-18
16.00-16.45 St Botolph Without, Aldgate 8 25-0-7
Evening Pub & Curry (Brick Lane)

 

The outing has been designed to minimise use of public transport, and it should be possible to walk between all the towers in the time available.
