Will is walking proof that experience is no boundary when a large dose of enthusiasm is supplied. Having started ringing at home in Saffron Walden in March 2010 and not only made proactive use of the 12 bell tower there but also kept himself busy in nearby Ashdon, he came up to Cambridge the following autumn and immediately got stuck into Guild activities on both the ringing and social sides, even making a voluntary appearance at the Guild’s Cindy’s outing which saw a first club-grab for many members. Keen to replicate his own progress in others, the Guild is sure to advance well under his assistance.
