Guild Week
This year's Guild Week will be based at Ripon College Cuddesdon, just outside Oxford, from Saturday 21st to Saturday 28th August. Pictures and full information on the College itself can be found on its website (www.rcc.ac.uk). Most of the accommodation will be in single rooms but there are a few twin rooms for those who would like them. The College is also happy to welcome those who prefer to camp. Full breakfast and dinner will be provided in the dining hall; for our use there are also meeting and social rooms, a bar and a chapel.
The ringing programme will comprise a day in Oxford (probably the Sunday) and a day each in the Abingdon, Witney, Goring, Faringdon, Chipping Norton and Banbury directions. Peal attempts have been provisionally booked at various eights plus at Appleton and Banbury (tens) and Christ Church Oxford (twelve). On the Friday late afternoon we have the option of touring the Hook Norton brewery after ringing in the village.
