Officers - Master
The Master is basically responsible for running the Guild. This includes running service ringing and practices, organising peals and quarter peals, and also giving a speech at the annual dinner. Name: Dale Winter College: St John's Subject: Mathematics Dale was taught to ring by Patrick Brooke at GSM in 2001 and has been a member of the band there ever since. His first peal was Plain Bob Major in hand, with three other members of the Winter family. Dale became an active member of the Guild since matriculating in 2004 and has previously been Assistant Master and Curry Officer. He seems to spend much of his time abroad - his second year was spent in the USA and he is now in Heidelberg until July (but he has already started exercising his Masterly duties by placing a band for a touch by telephone). Dale does not like having his photograph taken. |
