Cambridge University Guild of Change Ringers : Ringing : Towers

Towers - Our Lady and the English Martyrs

OLEM

8, 31-2-5 in D

The church is situated on the corner of Hills Road and Lensfield Road, towards the south end of Cambridge. The bells are a glorious heavy ring of 8, and are an absolute must for any visiting ringer. They have a long draft and turn very slowly, so they're not easy to ring well, but they are certainly very rewarding. We ring here two or three times a term, on Thursdays; some other weeks there is an EDA practice. Paul Seaman is in charge.

Sunday ringing:

None.
