George learned to ring at Waltham, in northern Lincolnshire, while in Year 8 and an early ringing education including such delightful places as Hull and Grimsby has caused her to appreciate Cambridge all the more since matriculating in 2009.
An unquestioning approach to new challenges has seen George agree to ring in the Dinner Touch and take on the position of Secretary in her first year without any real idea of what either entailed in advance, but she has so far proven more than capable of dealing with anything the Guild has thrown her way.
