The Guild Steeplekeeper is responsible for maintenance of the bells at St Andrew the Great and maintenance of the Guild's handbells.

Upon arriving at Cambridge, Oliver got stuck into all things ringing-related and rapidly improved his ringing repertoire. One of the three current committee members who rang their first peal in December 2011, it is apt for an Engineer to take on the role of Steeple-keeper which, surely, will mean devising some ingenious solutions to keep the bells in working order. When not in the tower, Oliver can often be found in the pub, pint in hand, and engaging in witty banter.
